IMPACT STORY 5

Global-to-Local Modelling and Value Assessment

How do we transform and innovate cost-effectiveness modelling to reflect value and user needs across different systems – and settings?”

Traditional global-to-local programmes – including evidence packages, cost-effectiveness models (CEM), and economic evaluations (CEA) – often struggle to translate across countries, health systems, and payer timelines, limiting their impact on local HTA and access decisions.

A novel framework was developed to streamline global–local adaptation of economic models, combining HTA-ready CEM logic with locally tailored inputs, assumptions, and policy levers.

The Result
This approach improved credibility, accelerated local adaptation, and strengthened payer engagement across a range of markets.
